What a great spot to ring in the new year! We had such a great time hiking, playing games, and relaxing by the fire. Your place is so cozy, we will definitely be back!

Thank you for such a fantabulous time. We were so grateful to unplug and enjoy nature and quiet time with our family. Your cottage is so cozy and peaceful. We loved hiking, playing in the river, chasing fireflies, and great sleep in your super comfy beds. Hope to return again!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our 21st wedding anniversary at the cottage. We so enjoyed the sound of the water, the hiking, the quiet. Thank you for making this a memorable and relaxing time for us!

Another magical year, our 9th! With the Laurel providing fun at all river levels. A great week to see friends, take long walks, kayak, cook out, bonfires, connect with nature and each other. I re-read your books on Hot Springs and NC whitewater. Thank you for sharing your Eden. We will be back! Much love and gratitude,

Our 8th trip and stay. Had a great time. We leave much more relaxed. Nature all around and the constant lulling of the water is such a balm to body and soul!

We are in love with the Riverbend Cottage and wish no one else knew about it. Wonderfully furnished with everything we needed or wanted. Had a fire in fire pit and fireplace, happy hour on the front porch, hiked Laurel River in drizzle, and feel asleep to rushing sound of river and rain on the tin roof. Sad to leave this morning and back to city life. But we will be back!

Loved being in this beautiful spot as we commuted to the Wild Good Festival in Hot Springs! This cottage is cozy, warm and friendly and I enjoyed the sounds of the river and smell of the forest. Wish we could stay longer!

We pick a different city in Western North Carolina each year and we are happy with our discovery of the Laurel River. It is such a beautiful river and the location couldn't be better. Pete fished a bit every day and we hiked the trail to the French Broad. Interesting to find out it was once a trail track to a thriving town. We enjoyed the sound of the river, comfy porch chairs, and comfy beds. Great little health food store in Marshall, BEST tomatoes every at Ramsey's stand down the road from Ingles. Loved the fireflies and fire pit hot dogs!
